
FAQ - Mowbray Court Hotel
1. Do you serve breakfast and at what time?
We provide a Continental Breakfast, which is served daily between
7.30 and 9.00 am.
2. Can I make telephone calls from inside the hotel?
Telephones are available in all rooms. Please note that calls from the
rooms are subject to both tax and service charges and can be expensive.
There are coin boxes in the Lobby where local and international calls
can be made at a considerably cheaper rate.3. I am not from the UK, so
I am not so sure how to use the telephone?
For reception or emergency dial 0.
For an outside line dial 9 and then the number.
For another room in the hotel dial 3 and then a 3 digit room number. For
example to dial room 13 dial 3-013.
For international calls the code is 9-00-and then dial the country
code and the number.
3. Can I send a fax from the hotel?
Fax facilities are situated at the reception. Please be advised that both
faxes sent and received are subject to charges.
4. I want to keep in touch with my friends, can I check e-mails
at the hotel?
You can check and write e-mails in the TV-Lounge near Lobby.
5. Do you have central heating?
Yes, we do. To increase or decrease room temperature, adjust control on
the radiator.
6. Do you have iron facilities?
There is an iron available for use on the ground floor outside room

7. I would like to go out in the evening. Are there nice pubs and
clubs close to the hotel?
Yes, the hotel is in the centre of London and there lots of places
to go. But we can also offer you to relax on our bar, which serves
tea and coffee as well as alcoholic drinks.
8. Till what time can I check out of my room?
You are kindly requested to vacate the room by 11.30 am on the day of
your departure. Failure to do so will result in you being charged for
an extra night.
9. I have very valuable things with me and don’t want to leave
them in the room. Can you keep them safe somewhere?
We have safes in the rooms, which can be rented at a cost of £
2.-- per day including tax. Keys are available at the reception
for a £ 10.-- refundable deposit. Guests are advised that
the Management cannot be responsible for valuables left in the room.
10. Can I receive visitors in my room?
Sure you can, but after 11.30 pm resident’s visitors are not
allowed in guest rooms anymore.
11. Is there a place somewhere close, where I can wash my laundry?
We are offering you dry-cleaning and laundry services from Monday
to Friday. Please require at the Reception before 10.00 am. Your
laundry will be returned the same day.
12. How can I get around London? Is it easier to take busses or
a car?
In London it is the best to use the busses or the underground. The closest
tube station from our hotel is Earl’s Court which is accessible
through the Piccadilly Line and the Circle Line. But if you would like
to rent a car, we can arrange it for you at the Reception. Please enquire
for rates.
There is also a mini-cab service available 24 hours. Please contact
Reception for rates and bookings.
13. I will come with my own car to London. Do you have parking at
the hotel?
Cars may not be parked on residents bays in the street in front of the
hotel between 8.30 am and 10 pm Monday to Saturday. Sunday is fine except
during exhibitions, when other restrictions may also apply.
Parking on single yellow lines is permitted between 6.30 pm and 8.30 am
Monday to Saturday. Cars parked during restricted hours may be clamped
or towed away.
There are car parks situated nearby. You are advised to ask at the
Reception before parking your car.
14. Can somebody pick me up from the airport?
Shuttle services to both Heathrow and Gatwick airports operate from
the hotel but must be reserved in advance at the reception.
15. What kind of credit cards do you take?
We accept all major credit cards, including Mastercard, Visa, American
Express, Switch and Visa Delta.
