FAQ - Mowbray Court Hotel
1. Do you serve breakfast and at what time?
The Mowbray Court Hotel provides a continental breakfast, which is served every day between
7.30am and 9.00am.
2. Are there telephones available at the Mowbray Court Hotel?
Telephones are available in all hotel rooms. Please note that phone calls from the
rooms cause additional charges. There are coin boxes in the Lobby where local and international calls
can be made.
3. What are useful numbers in the UK?
For reception or emergency calls dial 0. For an outside line dial 9 and then the number. For another room in the hotel dial 3 and then the room number. For
example to dial room 13 dial 3-013. For international calls the code is 9-00-and then dial the country code and the number.
4. Can I send a fax from the hotel?
Fax facilities are situated at the reception. Please keep in mind that the hotel charges for use of the fax machine.
5. I want to keep in touch with my friends, can I check e-mails
at the hotel?
Guests of the Mowbray Court Hotel can check and write e-mails in the TV-Lounge near the Lobby.
6. Do you have central heating?
Yes, we have. Guests of the hotel have the possibility to change the room temperature.
7. Do you have iron facilities?
There is an iron available in the hotel.
8. I would like to go out in the evening. Are there nice pubs and
clubs close to the hotel?
Yes, the hotel is in the centre of London and there are lots of places
to go. But the Mowbray Court Hotel also offers a place to relax at the hotel bar, which serves
tea and coffee as well as alcoholic drinks.
9. Until what time can I check out of my room?
You are kindly requested to vacate the room by 11.30am on the day of
your departure.
10. I have very valuable things with me and don't want to leave
them in the room. Is there a safe in the hotel?
We have safes in all the rooms, which can be rented at a cost of £
2.-- per day including tax. Keys are available at the reception
for a £ 10.-- refundable deposit. Guests are advised that
the Management cannot be responsible for any valuables left in the room.
11. Can I receive visitors in my room?
Sure you can, but after 11.30 pm resident’s visitors are not
allowed in guest rooms anymore.
12. Is there a place where I can wash my laundry?
We are offer dry-cleaning and laundry services from Monday
to Friday. Please hand over your clothes to the reception before 10.00am. Your
laundry will be returned the same day.
13. How can I get around London? Is it easier to take the bus or use
a car?
In London it is best to use a bus or the underground. The closest
tube station from our hotel is the Earls Court from where the Piccadilly Line and Circle Line are accessible.
But if you would like to rent a car, we can arrange it for you, just ask at the reception.
There is also a 24 hours mini-cab service available. Please contact the
reception for rates and bookings.
14. I will use my own car to get to London. Do you provide parking at
the hotel?
There is a car park situated nearby. You are advised to ask at the
reception before parking your car.
15. Can someone pick me up from the airport?
Shuttle services from both the Heathrow airport and the Gatwick airport are available but must be reserved in advance at the reception.
16. What kind of credit cards do you accept?
The Mowbray Court Hotel accepts credit cards such as Mastercard, Visa, American
Express, Switch and Visa Delta.
